"Foursquare for beer" Untappd is announcing its one millionth checkin today, in addition to the acqi-hire of other niche beer checkin app RedPint, an iPhone app co-created by founders John Vajda and Alica Benjamin. Said Untappd co-founders Tim Mather and Greg Avola in a blog post,"As with many craft breweries, collaboration is one of the best ways to benefit the community and it is with this merger that we will be able to dedicate more time and resources to continue to build and cultivate Untappd."
