Amazon has just released new data regarding its Kindle sales for the holiday season. According to the e-commerce giant, Amazon customers purchased millions of Kindle Fires and millions of Kindle e-readers. And 2011 was the best holiday ever for the Kindle family, as customers purchased over 1 million Kindle devices each week. Amazon CEO and founder Jeff Bezos said in a statement: ?We are grateful to our customers worldwide for making this the best holiday ever for Kindle."
